What do I need to rent a trailer?
To rent a trailer, you will need a valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and a valid credit card for the deposit. Your vehicle must be in good working condition and capable of safely towing the trailer. You will also need a hitch rated for the trailer’s capacity, which can be rented if you do not have one.
Are your trailers insured?
Our trailers are insured; however, we recommend checking with your vehicle insurance provider to confirm your coverage for added peace of mind. You also have the option to purchase additional insurance from MBA at checkout if needed.
Can I rent a trailer for a one-way trip?
At this time, our rentals are available for round trips only. As a small, locally owned business, we focus on serving our community while providing reliable trailer rentals for your hauling needs.

Are there age requirements to rent a trailer from ALCO?
Yes, to rent a trailer from us, you must be at least 25 years old and have a valid driver’s license. The person renting the trailer must also be the one driving and towing it. This policy helps us keep our customers safe and protects our equipment.

Do I need a CDL to rent your larger trailers?
All of our trailers are derated to a 12,000 GVWR. In Texas, most truck and trailer combinations with a combined weight rating under 26,001 pounds do not require a CDL to operate.
Brook’s was amazing. Communicated very well with me up until the start of my trip until the last day when I returned. The camper was fantastic, clean, in great shape and clearly well maintained. Set up was easy, operation was easy, just an all around great experience. Had an issue with the TV but Brooks took care of that immediately and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me.
